July Wrap-Up | Very Busy, Not Exactly in a Good Way
Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. These months keep flying by and it’s like I can’t keep up. This month kept me so busy, I didn’t have a lot of time to focus on the things I wanted to do like writing and being active on my blog and others. Nevertheless, this month still went okay. BOOKS READ The Weight of the Stars by K. Ancrum| ★★★★1/2I started out not loving this book, I didn’t get what the hype of it was. But then the ending came and I discovered that it is brilliant. The last 20ish percent of the book had so many emotions in it and…

June Wrap-Up | An Uneventful but Productive(ish) Start to Summer Break
This post is later than usual, I know. I kind of forgot that June was ending and I also procrastinated, so this wrap up comes almost a week late. Also, did I say another month could pass by? We’re already half way through 2021. Craziness. June was pretty uneventful, but it was still pretty good. BOOKS READ I managed to read 5(ish) books this months! It wasn’t great and I only made it through half my TBR for the month (which, evidently, I set way to high), but I think I did okay. I also really enjoyed all the books I read, which was great! Picture Us in the Light…

Let’s Talk Bookish: Why do People Lie About Reading Books?
Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. This is like, the first time ever that I’ve managed to do LTB three weeks in a row. That’s an accomplishment. So, let’s get started! Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and is hosted by Rukky and Dani @ Literary Lion where we discuss various topics and share our opinions. Today’s topic is Why do People Lie About Reading Books? (suggested by Jillian @ Jillian the Bookish Butterfly). Some people will say they have read books when they really haven’t; why do you think that is? Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t really see the…

May Wrap-Up and June Goals
Time flies way too fast. Every time I do a monthly wrap-up, it feels like it should not be this far into the year. But yet, it is. I had a pretty good month, things weren’t too bad. I hope yours was good as well. This month, I sadly only read two books. I started Strange the Dreamer near the beginning of the month, but it took a little while to get into because of the different writing style, and it’s very long, so that’s the major book I’ve been reading this month. Here are the two I completed: The Half-Orphan’s Handbook by Joan F. Smith ~ ★★★★☆ ~ My…

April Wrap-Up and May Goals
Wow, another month gone by. April went by way too fast. I only have about a month left of school. It’s crazy! I swear the school year only started a little while ago. But time flies, right? So, let’s review the month, shall we? I didn’t read too many books this month. I started reading a bit later this month though, because I didn’t have any books to read since they were all being delivered. But I think I still got a decent amount done. The Secret of Nightingale Wood by Lucy Strange ~ ★★★.5 ~ My ReviewI really enjoyed reading this book. I thought that the grief and depression…

The (Very Late) Book Blog Newbie Tag
Hello, everyone! I probably should’ve done this as my first tag, but my organization of posts is not that great. I’ve been blogging for a little over three months, so this is very late, but I still thought I should do it. I’ve seen a variety of people do this, and it looks like a lot of fun. So, without further ado, the questions. Why did you want to start a book blog? I started thinking about beginning a book blog sometime last year. On the NaNoWriMo YWP, there was a thread where you could share your blogs. I was looking at it and clicked through some other people’s blogs.…

March Wrap-Up and April Goals
I can’t believe it’s already the end of March. It feels like 2021 started only a few weeks ago. The year is going by so fast, yet it feels so slow at the same time. Anyways, today I have my wrap-up for March and some goals for April. I read 5 books this month, which isn’t bad. All of the books I read I enjoyed as well, so I’m happy about that. Across the Universe (Across the Universe #1) by Beth Revis ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~ My Review I really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy. It was slightly slow at the beginning, but the storyline was intriguing and Godspeed…

February Wrap-Up and March Goals

January Wrap-Up and February Goals
Hey, everyone! Was it just me or did January go by really fast? It feels like New Years happened only a few days ago. Anyways, here is my wrap-up for January and some goals for February. Pax by Sara Pennypacker ★★★★☆ – I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a fun read, though there were a couple of sad parts in it. (My review.) The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern ★★★★★ (4.5) – This book was amazing! I loved the world that Morgenstern made, creating one inside our own. (My review.) Elske by Cynthia Voigt ★★★★☆ (3.5) – I enjoyed this story as well. There were a few things…
