About
Hello, welcome!
I’m Lotus (she/her), a Chinese-American teen book blogger. I love reading as an escape from reality, delving into fictional worlds and living lives through characters that warm my heart and break it at the same time. Being an Asian American, diversity is really important to me and I love seeing different representations in the books I read.
On my blog, you’ll see me talking about all things bookish and once in a while, my photography and writing.

I love the fact that you were inspired to begin writing because of your imaginary dragon, Starlight. I would love to hear about the adventures you took with Starlight!
Lotus
Thank you! I’m enjoying working on it.

The new rating system with dragons is fantastic! What a great idea — I may steal your idea when I’m grading 🙂
Lotus @ Pages of Starlight
Thanks! I was thinking of a way to incorporate dragons into my blog and I decided on using them for my rating system.

Hello! 😊 I found it cool that you have been writing books since you were seven, and want to be an author. I have the same dream, different backstory though. What’s your favorite type of book genre? 📔 Hope to hear from you!
Lotus @ Pages of Starlight
Thank you! My favorite genre is fantasy! I love all the made up worlds and systems. What’s yours?
🌺 IceLillies 🌺
My favorite genre is on the lines of… Be prepared… Mystery, Magic, Love, and Fantasy. Mouthful, I know, 😅 though that is basically what I have been reading last summer. Any books you’d like to recommend?🤔
Lotus @ Pages of Starlight
I really enjoyed The Sunbearer Trials by Aiden Thomas! It’s a fantasy book with a lot of magic and a bit of mystery and love. I’d also recommend any of the books in my about page!

Lotus @ Pages of Starlight
I’ve always loved writing stories. I’d write fantasy, most definitely.

*Nod nod* Writing stories is de best. 😋
Fantasy stories are always awesome! Most stories that I take interest in, always take part in at least a little fantasy. Have you written any stories yet? If so, what’s your favorite? 🤔

I’ve written tons of stories. My current WIP is definitely my favorite. I wrote a post about it if you want to know more: https://www.pagesofstarlight.com/2022/06/14/pretty-deadly-words-2-in-which-i-ramble-about-my-wip/
