Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time
Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. This post is later than usual, I’ve been kind of swamped with schoolwork, and haven’t had a lot of time. It’s been a while since I’ve done a Top Ten Tuesday but I thought today’s topic looked fun.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl where there is a topic and you make a list that best fits it. Today’s topic is Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time.
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
There’s nothing like reading Percy Jackson for the first time. You get introduced to this new world with amazing characters and fascinating creatures. It’s different when you reread PJO, there’s not that sense of getting your eyes opened to a brand new world.
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
The ending of this book is so confusing to me, but it’s so interesting as well. I wish I could read it again for the first time and maybe pay more close attention.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Anyone who has read The Book Thief knows that this book packs a lot into about 500 pages. Beautifully written and narrated by an unexpected being, I loved the storyline and it’s so eye opening the first time you read it.
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
I fell in love with Erin Morgenstern’s writing when I read this book. Everything was described so beautifully and lyrically, and I loved the fantastical world that she created.
The Missing Piece of Charlie O’Reilly by Rebecca K.S. Ansari
I wish I could experience all the mystery this book has for the first time again. All the twists this book takes are so fascinating and the storyline is very intriguing.
The Trials of Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor #1) by Jessica Townsend
This book is amazing, and I would love to experience it for the first time again. The world is fantastic and the characters are hilarious, namely Jupiter and Fenestra.
Winterspell by Claire Legrand
This book seems to be a bit controversial on Goodreads, but nevertheless, I enjoyed it. Winterspell drove me insane. It’s a retelling of the Nutcracker, and I loved the world building, and the gorgeous cover. One character did made me slightly very, annoyed, but overall, I thought this was a really good book.
Graceling (Graceling Realm #1) by Kristin Cashore
I loved learning about the Seven Kingdoms and journeying with Katsa and Po to rescue Bitterblue. Discovering the truth behind Katsa’s Grace would be very cool, and I also loved the romance between Katsa and Po.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely (Cursebreakers #1) by Brigid Kemmerer
I loved this Beauty and the Beast retelling and the romance between Harper and Rhen was so good. Learning about Emberfall all over again would be amazing.
Ender’s Game (Ender’s Saga #1) by Orson Scott Card
I read this a while ago and it was basically my introduction to science fiction. I really liked it, and I thought it was really cool. I don’t remember a whole lot about it though, but reading it again for the first time would be pretty cool.
Have you read any of the books I mentioned? What are some books you’d like to read again for the first time?

I’ve seen these books before, yet I haven’t read them. 😐 Some books I wish I could read for the first time again are: Sisters of Sword and Song by Rebecca Ross, Lovestruck by Kate Watson, The Twistrose Key by Tone Almhjell, The Light in the lake by Sarah R. Baughman, and Aurora Rising 01 by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff. I enjoyed all these books, have you heard/read any of these books?

I’ve heard of some of those books, but I haven’t read any of them. I’ve always thought Aurora Rising looked interesting.

Yes, ”Aurora Rising” 🌟 is a good/interesting book. One of the things I like about it, is that it is one of those ”good first liner” books, that reals you in. Another thing about this book that I like, is that it is one of those ”Point Of Character’s View” books. So it would switch with different characters every one or two chapters. I find those books enjoyable and fun, another book that is like that is ”Sisters of Sword and Song”, another really good read. 🙂

Oh, that’s good! I enjoy multiple POV books as well. I get to connect with more of the characters.
