March Wrap-Up and April Goals
I can’t believe it’s already the end of March. It feels like 2021 started only a few weeks ago. The year is going by so fast, yet it feels so slow at the same time. Anyways, today I have my wrap-up for March and some goals for April.
I read 5 books this month, which isn’t bad. All of the books I read I enjoyed as well, so I’m happy about that.
Across the Universe (Across the Universe #1) by Beth Revis ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ~ My Review
I really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy. It was slightly slow at the beginning, but the storyline was intriguing and Godspeed was fascinating.
Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Opposite of Always was a very funny and enjoyable book. I loved Jack’s narration and his relationships with his friends were really well done.
A Million Suns (Across the Universe #2) by Beth Revis ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I didn’t enjoy the second book as much, but it was still fun to read. I think science fiction is growing on me. The mystery that Amy and Elder had to solve was really cool.
Shades of Earth (Across the Universe #3) by Beth Revis ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The last book in the trilogy I looked a lot. The new earth was so cool and the creatures were terrifying but also quite interesting. When I got near the end, I was so mad when I read that part about Elder.
You Have a Match by Emma Lord ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You Have a Match was a fun read. I enjoyed the relationships that all the characters formed with each other, especially Abby and Savvy.
I wrote 13 posts this month, which is pretty good. I didn’t really have a set plan of what I was going to post, but here is what I posted.

I did a lot of blog hopping this month and I found out about a lot of new blogs. Here’s some of the posts that I really enjoyed:

I didn’t do a whole lot of writing this month, which I’m not too excited about. I’m hoping to get some more done over Spring break which is next week. I’ve started working on a prologue to my current WIP and it’s going pretty well. Here’s a snippet of what I have so far in my prologue. It’s unedited, so forgive me if there’s any typos.
Well, this month was slow. Hybrid learning just started up at my school, but I’m staying at home. I think hybrid learning is a lot more complicated than just finishing out the school year with fully distanced learning. And I’m not doing too bad in it either, I actually kind of like it. Of course I’d rather be in person, but for what we have, I’m doing okay in it.
On a happier note, Spring is in the air! A bunch of flowers are starting to bloom at my house. Though there’s this really annoying thing going on where all of my neighbors are able to grow California poppies but for some reason, my family can’t. Don’t know if it’s our yard, or that we just can’t take care of plants.
- Read 5 books ✔
- Post roughly the same amount of posts as in February. ✔ ❌ – Well, I sort of did.
- Read 5-6 books
- Write at least 10 blog posts
- Finish the first draft of my prologue
- Drink more water (real problem for me)
- Journal at least two times a week
- Clear off some shelves in my room
