My Zodiac Sign: I don’t know too much about zodiac signs and horoscopes, but I’m a Libra. I’d say I’m kind of like what Libra personality traits are said to be, though I think I’m a little bit of Gemini as well.
Let’s get into the tag! I’ll be doing the book prompts first and then the music ones.
Aries: A wild and powerful book compelling – from start to finish. Every page intoxicated your heart and mind with incredible imagery.
I have to agree with Swift Walker here, it’s definetely Harry Potter. Though the later books were way too long, in my opinion, the whole world of Harry Potter gets painted out for you in J.K. Rowling’s books.
Taurus: A heart-wrenching story of a forbidden love that could tear a family apart.
Okay, I haven’t actually read this book, but it’s on my TBR and it really sounds like it would fit this prompt perfectly. I’m not an expert on this book, but it seems like it.
Gemini: A book that is cheeky, quippy, and witty.
So, I don’t know if this prompt truly describes The Chaos of Standing Still, but I think it does partly. Ryn and Xander’s relationship is sweet and how they first meet and introduce themselves is really funny.
Cancer: A bittersweet book that spoke to your sensitive heart.
Five Feet Apart was a really sad book, but it did end on a somewhat happy note, so I feel like it fit this prompt really well. Will and Stella’s relationship and also Poe, it was just an overall sad, but happy book all at the same time.
Leo: A book with drama, love, fancy wear, and hope.
The Night Circus definitely fits this prompt. There’s romance, plenty of drama, and because it’s a circus, of course there’s fancy wear. And there’s hope, lots of it.
Virgo: A tender story about self-love, self-discovery, self-determination, perseverance, friendship, romance, and family.
Little Women has it all: Jo discovering who she is, new friendships, new romance relationships, family importance, everything you could possibly think of to fit this prompt.
Libra: A book that has a remarkably refreshing frank look at life. One of the realest books that you’ve ever read.
Wonder is definetely a book that has a real life look on it. The story is actually based off an event that happened in real life.
Scorpio: A book with a good plot twist. A book that is psychologically-thrilling and emotionally-chilling, haunted you from the first page to the last.
We Were Liars fits this prompt pretty well. I was so confused when that plot twist happened near the end of the book, I’m pretty sure I missed a key detail of the story. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I finished reading it and I just couldn’t understand how any of what happened was possible.
Sagittarius: An adventurous, summer read.
This book isn’t exactly adventurous, but it was an enjoyable read. It was definetely a book that didn’t involve a whole lot of intellectual thinking.
Capricorn: A book that has everything to do with friendship.
Nowhere Boy is a book that is basically centered about the friendship of Ahmed and Max. I honestly don’t remember a lot about it, I read it a long time ago, but I do remember enjoying it a lot.
Aquarius: A quirky and unique book.
Everything on a Waffle is a pretty unique book. The Girl on the Red Swing sounds like a very interesting, and tasty restaurant, I’d like to go there.
Pisces: A book that bewitched and enchanted you by its lyrical words, and transmitted your imaginative mind.
The Starless Sea fits this prompt perfectly! I loved Erin Morgenstern’s writing in this story and the magical realism she uses to create the world under New York was amazing.
Aries: The song that got your blood pumping and heart beating fast.
I love the meaning behind this song, it’s really encouraging. It’s a really upbeat and fast paced song and I just think it fits this prompt.
Taurus: A song to celebrate your love when in a commitment with someone.
This song is great and I love the music video for it.
Gemini: A song to listen to when you get tongue-tied and miscommunicate your feelings.
I have to agree with Ritz on this one. I haven’t heard this song in forever, but it definetely has the tongue-tied feeling to it.
Cancer: A song that motivated you to take a chance and open yourself up to love.
This song is so sweet and the music video is really cute.
Leo: A song that shows affection.
I still love this song so much. And I think it’s a pretty near perfect fit for this prompt.
Virgo: A song with a sentiment that made you feel beautiful both on the inside and out.
My friends and I did a dance to this song when we were in sixth grade, it was kind of meh now that I think about it. Anyways, I enjoyed this song a lot.
Libra: A song that shows a person is truly and madly in love.
I haven’t heard Grenade by Bruno Mars in forever, my sibling used to listen to it all the time when we were younger.
Scorpio: A song which is unapologetically pledging their undying affection for their crush.
I’m going with the same as Ritz on this one as well. Driver’s License is good and Olivia Rodrigo is really talented.
Sagittarius: An exciting, spontaneous song.
This song is so upbeat and exciting. I’m not sure I’d call it spontaneous, but I still think it fits.
Capricorn: A song that promotes self-love.
I was obsessed with Firework by Katy Perry in fourth grade. And I think it really fits the prompt, with the message of being your true self.
Aquarius: A song that has more to do with friendship than being in a relationship.
This song has such a sad meaning behind it, but it’s so good too. I prefer this version a lot more than the one with the rap added into it.
Pisces: A song that’s all about unconditional love.
An old song, but a good song. That’s all I have to say.
